oyster river pages, poetry editor

I am a co-founder (est. 2017) and Poetry Editor of Oyster River Pages, a literary and artistic journal that works to feature underrepresented voices in publishing through the genres of fiction, creative non fiction, visual art, and poetry. I have overseen the creation five annual issues and three special themed issues from reading submissions to creating website content. Every year since 2018, I have also had the privilege of taking on an intern to work with me on the annual issue and on an intern-led special issues. Previous interns include Robin Gow, whose poetry can be found in Poetry Magazine, and Emily Demaionewton, whose work can be found in Poetry Nation and The New York Times

From 2017-2020, I was been a blind peer reviewer for Inspiring Pedagogical Connections: Working Papers in Composition and Applied Linguistics, the peer-reviewed journal of the Ph.D. in English program at Indiana University of Pennsylvania.

Since 2020, I have been the social media editor of Writing Spaces for Instagram

sticks, co-faculty advisor

I was co-founder (est. 2016) and co-faculty advisor of the creative literary magazine Sticks, of Southern West Virginia Community College from 2016-2017.

I was co-faculty advisor of The Laconic, a student-led literary magazine at Northampton Community College, for 2015-2016.
