During the months of May, June, and July of 2023, I was an artist-in-residence for the East 40, forty acres of land with a community garden on Northampton Community College's Bethlehem campus. During those months, I walked, sat, listened, and wrote poetry about my interactions, thoughts, and experiences of being there. This place-based poetry project is accessible via the pictures of the East 40 below, or via the menu buttons on the top of the page.
